Some pictures of my trip to Talladega.

This trip was in October 2004 and was to celebrate the 35th
anniversary of the Talladega Superspeedway.
That's a 1970 Superbird on the trailer and a 1969 Charger 500.
Nothin' good to say here...

A pair of Superbirds berfore the day out with the club ... notice another Suberbird in the background on other side of my rental car(insert Big T here).
Nothin' good to say here...

This is Vohn's Big T, the first Talladega I laid eyes on other than my own. Notice the lack of head rests and striping. Nothin' good to say here...

This angle was my favorite and this pic dorned my desktop for a long wile. Other than the reproduction beauty rings, this is a very fathful restoration. This pic is not cropped at all, just shrunk. Nothin' good to say here...

This Big T is an example what they would have looked like had any been built with the R code engine(which is the ram air CJ).
None were built but at least one was mocked up for pictures.

Another angle... couldn't help it. I liked this look alot and thought I'd get a good feel for it because I plan on having a hood with a scoop too. In the background you'll notice a Spoiler and another blue Talladega. Next to them out of the picture is a couple more Talladagas. Nothin' good to say here...

Can't get away without pics of the Merc's. This is a Lee Yarbrough edition wile above the glovebox its labled 'Super Speedway Special'. Nothin' good to say here...

An interior pic. I really don't know very much about this preticular car. Nothin' good to say here...

One of the three King Cobras built in 1970. This one has the Boss 429 engine. Nothin' good to say here...

The prototype cars were built before Ford decided to stop racing. Nothin' good to say here...

Two of the three were on hand as well as the 1970 Cyclone prototype. Nothin' good to say here...

This is part of our host personal collection. Every Mopar here was an extremely nice example. Nothin' good to say here...
